Hi, as I have stated before it is necessary for me to take this archive down due to it taking up far too much bandwidth. I'm sorry to everyone who regularly used this site. Here is the original message stating my reasons for taking the archive down :
Regrettably, due to the frankly ridiculous amount of bandwidth this archive has been consuming (about 3 terabytes per month, well done everybody!), I'm going to have to pull this archive off the face of the internet quite soon. This archive will disappear on the 9th of March, 2008, at 11:59pm GMT. In the meanwhile, grab what you can - this link contains what was a work-in-progress of a new version of the music archive. The individual mp3 pages are not present, but the complete .rar collections contain new, properly-tagged mp3s with album art. Grab 'em while you can!
Will it come back? Possibly. I have become very unhappy with Dreamhost's service lately, but at the end of the day there are few other shared hosting plans offering a similar amount of bandwidth that aren't completely terrible. The only realistic option is a dedicated server, and to be frank that is horribly expensive for something I'm pulling no money from. If I can, I will bring this archive back, but if I can't, it's hard luck for everyone really. I apologise to everyone who frequently used this archive, I never expected this would get so popular.
